We should be fair. I think Mr AhmadiNejad and his Government made a sense. Almost three years ago, in Mr Khatami era (Former president) we had the same problem in Iran and snow was around 4 meters in some places. There were no electricity and people suffered so many problems. Streets were full of snow and for almost two weeks nobody could drive car.
But this Winter, in Capital and as i heard in other cities, snow doesnt make much problem. Even if in some parts of Iran it’s snowing more than one week , All streets in Tehran and other cities are cleaned every minute and there are many cars in the streets. There was gas problem that it seems they solved this problem too. I read in news that they have sent some groups to villages too, to help villagers.. Alhamdulilah, everything is much better than three years ago.. Just IRAN is getting frozen under snow..
Mr Ahmadi Nejad, Mr Ghalibaf (Tehran’s Mayor) and all mayors around Iran and everybody who helped us to pass this snow disaster:
Thank you.. You made a sense

Keep warm and take care.

It snowed the day I was born and no matter how cold it gets I just love snow. I can’t believe I have been living without snow for years in a desert

Well, sorry about the problems it has been causing – that is just too bad but snow is good.

Achelois, I love snow too. Esp playing with. During this winter all boys and girls were in the streets, and they were playing with snow. Some of them even come out the house after midnite. I too made a snowman yesterday. Even if it was too much snowing, but i love this winter so much.

destinysweet, Thank you for your comment. Mayor of Tehran had very good plan for this winter. They made big salons with bathrooms and too many beds, and it was freely open for homeless people from 7 pm to 7 am. They could go there and sleep at nite. Anyway there were some others who died in clod nites.

Be very careful in this bitter snowy wonderland. If you want I will send Mahmoud an e-mail telling him to be sure to keep your area swept and supervised. Soon the snows will be over and the sun will shine brightly.

johnnypeepers, Thank you. I am really waiting for sun. I think the weekend will be sunny.(weekend here is friday) ..
LOL. Is Mahmoud your relative? He is not even my friend.
January 13, 2008 at 8:38 pm
No, he is the President of Iran. I have the address to his blog and have written him about my concerns before. You can find it at http://www.ahmadinejad.ir.

johnnypeepers, I know he is president of Iran. I was kidding. I just dont understand some of his statements. That’s why i said he is not my friend. But he did good this winter, i am just fair.

I didn’t read the article but I just enjoyed the images, wow so beautiful, they remind me of “Bloodan” High place near Damascus where it’s always snow in Winter…

Shahrzad,
Sorry I did not pick up on your irony. Mahmoud did not post the comment last time I checked. Usually he only posts the most adoring and hateful comments from Americans.
Mahmoud (or rather his staff) does this to show that Americans are either: (1) very supportive of Mahmoud and his policies or (2) incoherent rambling hate-mongers who wish death to Iranians. Comments that do not fit into either category (like mine) are generally not posted.
Thanks for rescuing my comments – I am still working on the issue.

Umm Yusuf, Thank you dear. I am warmly wraped in a blanket
Alloush, I know Syria can be cold. When i was there, esp at nite it was very cold.( Summer i mean). So i could guess what will be in the Winter. I love Syria. Beautiful country..
johnnypeepers, Interesting. I wrote a report about his site before. I was always wondering why there are just 40 and so English comments in the forum. Sure visitors are more than 40.
May you email your comments on his blog for me? If you have a copy of course..
Ah still Akismat. Dont worry about my blog. I check Akismat everyday. Leave comments as many as you want
