Last week, while i was away of the blogsphere, there was an int’l plant and flower fair in Tehran, Iran. I just found some cheering fotos of the fair and now i feel upset that i’m losing it already. The fair has been held on August 26 – 31 in the west side of Chamran Highway, inside the Dialogue Garden, open to all..
70 Iranian and 25 foreigner companies have been participated in the fair. There are some famous brands in flower trade from Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Taiwan, Denmark, China, France, Thailand, Indonesia and Lebanon.
I adore gardens. And i loved to be a gardener or to have a flower shop. I assume being in a flower fair is all fun-loving experience.
Have you ever been in a flower fair?

And i really LoVe this window there.
I wished the pots of red geranium would be made of clay too
This blog offers a glimpse into the life of an Iranian woman and her honest view on world affairs and issues which concerns her country, Iran.

For some weird reason, I never liked/loved(loved been a strong word) flowers .. But I simply love the last second picture. Its beautiful. Z would have enjoyed though, He loves to awe at Mother nature’s beauty … Very unlike Me ..

I like the first and the last photo!
I used to have bonsai trees I grew myself, but when I went to England to study they weren’t looked after well enough and died.
I love flowers, and we have them very cheap in the market here, so I always have flowers!
Lovely post Shaz! There is so much more to Iran!

Nice photos!
One thing I always admired when I visited back home is how abundant flowers of all types were. And they were so cheap! It costs next to nothing to have a background for a wedding done up in fresh flowers!
Here in the west its all about white roses (or red for valentine) and that’s it pretty much.

Oh wow! What beautiful flower arrangements. I miss having flowers around the home or in the garden – flowers are quite expensive to buy here in Riyadh and they are never all that fresh. If you plant them outside they wilt in the heat!

I’ve been to a few garden shows but from your pictures, this one looke much nicer! I love everything about how flowers look and feel and smell, but unfortunately I don’t thnk I’d make much of a gardener one day, I just wouldn’t have the patience. V and I made a deal that when we buy a house I can pick all the flowers and he’ll be in charge of planting and maintaining a the garden.
Thanks for sharing the pics!
