President In The States

Iran’s president takes foto with American university students

As you know, Dr Ahmadinejad, president of Iran has been in the US of A. I’ve found some fotos of his trip which are so interesting for me even. I thought to share with you here..

He gave many many interviews and responses to the press and the world of media and has had a loud of interviews and meetings.
There were meetings with American students and professors, different interviews with New York Times, CNN, Pasifica, Los Angeles Times, etc..

He also had a dialogue dinner -traditional breaking of the Ramadan fast- on Thursday with around 200 people of various faiths including Mennonites, Jews and Zoroastrians who said they wanted to promote peace by meeting Iranian president.  Source

Part of his qoutes:

“It is deeply disastrous to witness that some presidential or premier nominees in some big countries have to visit these people, take part in their gatherings, swear their allegiance and a commitment to their interests, in order to attain financial or media support.
This means that the great people of America and various nations of Europe need to obey the demands and wishes of a small number of acquisitive and invasive people. These nations are spending their dignity and resources on the crimes and occupations and the threats of the Zionist network against their will.”

“Last year, I said I was ready to meet with (President George W.) Bush. But now he is at the end of his term and (a meeting) will not impact our relations and future,” Source: AFP

“Millions have been killed or displaced, and the occupiers, without a sense of shame, are still seeking to solidify their position,”

“I am ready for a debate with the US presidential candidates over global issues in the presence of the media at the UN headquarters,”
Source: Pakistan Daily

“We do not believe that the US policy perspective, looking at the rest of the world as a field of confrontation, will give global results”

And the most famous quote:

“The US government has made a series of mistakes in the past few decades. The imposition on the US economy of the years of heavy military engagement and involvement around the world . . . the war in Iraq, for example. These are heavy costs imposed.
American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road, and its next rulers must limit their interference to their own borders,”

And i like this quote:

“As long as the aggressors, because of their financial, political and propaganda powers, not only escape punishment, but even claim righteousness, and as long as wars are started and nations are enslaved in order to win votes in elections, not only will the problems of the global community remain unsolved, but they will be increasingly exacerbated,” the Iranian president said..

This is great to know & see through this pictures. He is a bold guy so far i know from the media also he is stick wid his goal .
Hats off to the President .

  2. Zios Says:

I like this guy. Whatever he says makes sense and he acts cool despite millions in the hostile land set to say and do everything that can make him angry. Any logical person will listen to him and try to understand what he is saying but those guys….well as I said every logical person :-)

  3. CC Farber Says:

Friends say I am gullible for believing Mr. Ahmadinejad and not the Western media and the American government’s belief that Iran is a “threat”. If Iran was going to nuke someone, wouldn’t they have already, or wouldn’t we have found proof that would eventually happen?

For the life of me, why I can pronounce his name?!?

  4. ~W~ Says:

I told you before, that for some odd reason ( loving everything Iranian?) I like this guy! He comes across as honest and bold, even if I do not agree with all he says or stands for. I think he also handled the US threats to Iran reasonably well.

  5. CC Farber Says:

    agreed.

  6. Johnny Peepers Says:

The corporate controlled media in the U.S. twist this man’s words to make him into a tyrant bent on nuclear annihilation. When interviews are shown, the footage is heavy edited and portions are omitted to demonize him. The 60 minutes interview 2-3 years ago is a perfect example of this treatment. The brainwash propagandists and their disinfo campaign seeks to make enemies instead of building cohesion and unity.

  7. عمار - aMmAr Says:

President Mahmud continues to impress the Muslim world through his speeches and thoughts on world politics. Interesting posts and pictures Shahrzad :)

  8. Shahrzad Says:

I found this article so interesting:

  9. armida maani Says:

Every now and then I used to visit your diary pages, and undoubtedly it’s clear that you are an ardent representative of Islamo-fascist, another word, a mole or better to say, an undercover spy of dearly beloved Islamic Republic. Keep your task perfect.

    so long

  10. Aafke Says:

Armida maani, I wonder whom you think Shahrzad is spying for and on. You seem to me to be a bit confused.
Every now and then one reads comments of blurkers whose IQ and discernment is so questionable as to make me wonder who it is that gives free internet acces to patients suffering of the more disturbing psycological afflictions in the institutions which harbour them.

  11. Shahrzad Says:

    LOL @ Aafke.. :D

  12. Achelois Says:

I like this man. He’s so much better than that lecherous Zardari!

  13. You know who, Shahrzad Says:

    What’s wrong with some people?

Every now and then they prove that the monkey can type?

  14. Aafke Says:

Ok, I should have included zoo’s in my comment.
Or how about newly de-iced neanderthals found frozen in ancient glaciers?
Or some animal escaped from dr Moreau’s island?
    Or ….

  15. Shahrzad Says:

LOL @ “monkey” and Zoo. I assume you both -”who i know” and aafke- are islamofascists and undercover spy of Islamic republic! eh? :D

i just wanted to show some of his quotes that Media didnt like to emphasize on. As Jonney said, they just quote “part” of his words and not all.
What he said, didnt have smell of seeking a war or attacking other countries. Iranians want to live in peace.. I dont know why it makes some “Persians” (who live outside the country) nervous!!!

  16. Aafke Says:

I am só much an islamofascist and undercover spy for the Islamic republic, bit of a bugger I have now been found out!!!!

  17. Shahrzad Says:

    Aafke, ROFL! :D

  18. Barbara Says:

I like your president too and of course he is so lucky to be the president of such a beautiful peoples, but the one thing I just can’t understand is how he can establish any kind of a relationship with such a demonic monster as Chavez.

  19. Haleem Says:

Did you see the debate? McCain couldn’t even pronounce the guy’s name – didn’t know difference between Shia and Sunni and he is supposedly the expert in foreign affairs.

  20. Shahrzad Says:

Barbara, Ah exacly that’s my question. I dont believe in fake Latino governments. They’re ruled by dictators!!

Haleem, LOL, this McCain rucks. I wonder how americans will vote for him really. An absolute idiot.. :D

  21. Barbara Says:

Yes dearest Shahrazad, they think by changing their constitutions on a whim they’ll ‘legally’ be in power for life like Castro living high while their people don’t even have the basics to eat, as Morales is trying to starve the people of Santa Cruz to provoke them to revolt and justify then the killing of these peoples to take over their land. You are lucky your president knows the love of a family as a husband, father, etc., and is a man who believes and prays to God.

  22. Rhysz Says:

Ahmadinejad does not impress me in any way. I find his rhetoric distastefull, at best. The man’s policies are a disservice to the Iranian people at best. However, US policy towards Iran is maybe even more disgusting. I think there;’s only one correct policy in life “extend your hand in friendship”.

    Regards,
    Rhysz

  23. CC Farber Says:

Sounds crazy, but he sounds more enlightened than Bush president, and I got to see — most — of his speech at UN and his appearance on Larry King (CNN). Who is his official translator, anyways?

  24. Shahrzad Says:

His official translator is an Iranian woman. You can see her in photo of interview with Pacifica. She has a hijab..

  25. д§mд Says:

I’m kind of jealous with you people to have a president like him ;)
