Truth never works in the oil rich region, the Middle East. There are so much to be neglected by western media which seems to be intendedly trying to make a fuss to push a new war.
They pretty much ignore so many facts and try to mislead the public opinion away from the war crimes that western governments are committing in the world. They hide them behind real-time stories, this time Iran’s nuclear program.
I’ve read some critical articles on Jeffrey Goldberg’s long & misleading report and I noticed none of them really crossed what might be the truth and the real fears of Israel.
Iran’s nuclear program may not be the real thing that worries Israel. By now and with the help of NPT they are aware of what Iran has done.
They know that Iran does not have the technology of nuclear weapons yet. Otherwise the Tehran’s reactor which is used for the medical purpose was not being out of work for some months that the fuel would be getting ended. If a nuclear Iran is really going to worry Israel, it has to be a concern of longterm not a worry of today or tomorrow.
So what is it that making Israel so anxious? Arent they hiding some other intentions behind the fuss for Iran’s nuclear program?
My thoughts tell me the real worry of Israel about iran is not the nuclear program even if they bark about it, but Israel’s real concern is Iran’s defence missile technology and they try to hide this concern behind the fuss for nuclear program.
After all no nation is allowed to have the technology to ‘defend’ itself against Zionist aggressors!
Why not the Nuclear program
The truth is that the fuel used in Tehran medical reactor is 20% enriched uranium, while the uranium in nuclear weapons usually is 85%! So Iran has yet long way to go - as the experts say at least some years – to be able to make a nuclear bomb.
Israel which has a history of assassinating and murder, has never claimed to assassinate or kidnap any ‘nuclear’ scientists of the Atomic Energy Agency, but Israel’s Mossad is accused of assassinating Dr Ardeshir Hosseinpour who was a genius and main part of the Shahab 3 missile project at Malik Ashtar university.
Even Shahram Amiri that was kidnapped by US and was recently freed, is not a nuclear scientist. He is an expert on radioactive isotopes for medical uses which doesn’t have anything at that level with Atomic energy facility but again he was a Malik Ashtar university of technology staff!!
Beside the fact that Iran has never invaded any country and the wars have been always to ‘defend, A single nuclear bomb or at general nuclear bomb does not help iran and is not useful. As once President Ahmadinehad pointed out, the era of nuclear weapons is already over.
North Korea has a nuclear bomb, and all know the sanctions over Iran which does not have any nuclear bomb is much worse than sanctions on a North Korea which has one/some!!
Israel which is not a member of NPT and is estimated to have 75-400 nuclear warhead, is completely aware about details of Iran’s nuclear program through NPT agents. NPT also several times emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and all the western countries including US are also completely aware of all the records!
On the other hand, There’s no organisation like NPT to control the Ballistic Defence missiles. It seems a free-zone as long as the missiles dont invade the space which would be difficult to be traced. They can never know how much progress Iran has in Ballistic missiles & can’t control it until Iran announces by own and tests them in public. Based on reports and the tests, Iran has the Ballistic missiles that are able to easily hit Israel. ( Sejjil missile and Shahab 3 that late dr Hosseinpour was main part of the project)
This is the wide range of Shahab 3 missile below:

As mentioned in Goldberg’s report, Israel fighter planes can’t just leave Israel behind, waiting to be beaten by Hizbullah there. The new reports also say of great progress in Hizbullah missiles; Whether Iran shared missiles with them or they made missiles by own; An Israel which was not able to handle Hamas’s home-made not very strong missiles, how is able to handle such powerful missiles with that wide range?
Iran not an easy target
Iran is a big country, 3 times bigger and more populous that Iraq. The country is so muti-ethnical but Iranians are so patriot. They have always united together against any foreign attack, despite the different political views and ethnicities & never let Iran to be invaded, occupied or colonised.
Iran also controls the most strategic area in the world, the strait of Hormuz. This strait is the only sea passage to the open ocean for large areas of the petroleum-exporting Persian Gulf that includes 40% of the world’s seaborne oil shipments.
Any attack on Iran may have a very deep effect on price of oil worldwide. Specially if Iran attempt to block the strait.
So all said above, Iran is no way an easy target for US which is injecting the money of hard-working tax payer Americans into wars. The wars proved to be based on lies and as Mark Weber points out very well, most benefits Israel and the Zionist allies than US and the American citizens:
Americans have already paid a high price for their nation’s commitment to Israel. We will pay an ever higher price – not just in dollars or international prestige, but in the lives of young men squandered for the interests of a foreign state – until the Jewish-Zionist hold on US political life is finally broken.

”The rise of Iran as a regional power which poses for Israel the kind of challenges that are very different to what we knew in the past. This is not conventional warfare. This is not the conventional threat of Israel being invaded and dest…royed as we once feared. This is the threat of non-conventional warfare… A difficult predicament for Israel” -Asher Susser, Moshe Dayan Center, Tel-Aviv University
It is important to notice what he means by non-conventional warfare. Non-conventional warfare includes a political struggle, and this is what Iran has waged the best, specially spearheading the calls for a democratic referendum where Palestinians are guaranteed their self-determination.

You got a point there, sure the missile defense knowhow in the hands of revolutionary Iran is not a bite easy to swallow by the ever hungry western empire and its satellite colonial zionazi state which had committed every outlawed act of aggression against humanity.
Iran has not exhibited any act of war against its neighbors while the occupying zionist state had uprooted millions from their Palestine homeland, burnt their children with napalm and white phosphorus, daily humiliate the occupied masses from going on with their daily lives, confiscating private lands, steal their water from the underground basin, holding millions of Gazans under nazi-like concentration camp but at much larger scale,,, and dare you point a finger at those murderous cowards, America will jump all over you with the ever ready anti-Semite cliché.
The world memory is still alive and did not forget the orchestrated lies of the Bush regime accusing Iraq of WOMD, go against the UN and turn the life of Iraq into a living hell, So is Afghanistan.. The politicians of Hollywood DC need to come with a more convincing lies about why Iran should be warred against, other than to make the zionists in occupied Palestine continue their march against humanity without a blink of fear.
The United Nations had let the world nations down, I fail to see why should the restless nations continue to be part of this sick hypocrite world body. Is it not time we see them quitting one after the other? But thats another issue !!
I wonder why this so wise the USA who has recently forced the occupied Palestinians to sit and listen to their occupiers had failed to sit with Iran and debate whatever they claim or build up for their coming aggression. President Nejad had called for an open debate with president Obama, come on Mr President stand up for what you preach, go on win the debate, it sure is less costlier than winning the war.. or is it not?

great article
yet our main power doesn’t lie in our missiles. It lies in the idea of self-sacrifice and martyrdom which, as was proven in our war with world-backed Saddam, is way stronger and more effective than most patriotic American-Israelis soldiers. That’s why west is already waging a full scale cultural warfare against our nation.

This reminds me of an article written by an American who was part of an envoy to North Korea. He described his interactions with his tour guide… The man, although knowing something was very wrong with his country and his government, also shared a strong sense of pride with the rest of his fellow countrymen over their nuclear capability. He felt it was their right to have nuclear weapons, especially for self defense against western aggression.
I’m sorry, but I can’t buy into this line of thinking, especially when it comes to tiny Israel surrounded by hostile enemies who have attacked the nation on more that none occasion.
As with North Korea, for Iran to claim it needs nuclear weapons to defend itself against Western aggression is like a bully on the playground bringing a gun to school just in case the kids he normally picks on decide to fight back.

Natassia,
Using your own “bully kid” example I reflect the same example back to you; why Israel brought two hundred atomic warheads into the playground? Isn’t Israel the odd bully kid who has just come from a far away neighborhood and claims superiority in the land of others who hold lawful ownership of the land? Isn’t Israel bullying the ancient inhabitants of the land in all aspects of their lives? Isn’t Israel the most proven outlaw “nation” in the world that presents the colonial interests of the western powers and since it’s unlawful creation had brought never ending hardship to the neighboring countries. Isn’t Israel a cancerous body that is causing misery and pains day after day while the hypocrite media salutes it’s revengful aggressions? Why is it right for Israel to stack tens of mass destruction weapons and we do not see the likes of you shed a tear of sorrow like you do for the propability of north Korean or Iran squiring the same? Sorry but we do not buy your bullying.
Who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.
So said sayedna Jesus and before him the prophets of the Jews. Israel brought the atomic sword so let us see where we are heading with this arrogance.

Oh, you think that is something, you should have seen what America did to those of us who belong to it and renounced the Iraq invasion…
Let’s recount…
Job lost.
Professional Certifications lost.
Gov. and public records altered and filled with untrue, libelous accusations.
Home invaded.
Computer hacked.
Home violated with surveilance equipment.
Phone bugged.(Though they said they NEVER would do such a thing to a citizen.)
Employers harrassed for hiring us. ect. ect.
Family video taped without knowledge or consent and the tapes released on the internet.
Many watch it and…no one says a thing. And we have no recourse. So much for ‘the land of the free’.

@Seldom
you think only US does that. understand this, it doesnt matter in what country you are or what type of government you have (whether its democratic, republic, communism …), if you choose to criticize the policy of the state specially in matters such as war this is what they will do. And I think what the US does is pretty good compared to some countries where you could get imprisonment or even worse the death penalty for talking against the state.
November 13, 2010 at 10:11 pm
The guy above is totally right. The US is so amazing. It only murders millions of innocent abroad who dare to think differently. But no imprisonment over it at home. Isn’t that wonderful? All nations should follow suit! ^^ Lol, a graduated clown is on the lose!

Hi Adlez,
You are incorrect if you think for one moment the American gov. would hesitate to kill one of it’s own or thousands of it’s own who oppose it.
They have in history past, killed many of theirs own citizens.
As for the rest of your post, it must be said that any gov. who breaks their own laws, attacks it’s own citizens for saying so, breaking more laws while doing so, then lies about what it has done, is a corrupt gov that needs to be confronted and dissolved.
We were patriotic, brave but ignorant and speaking honestly. Now we are not so patriotic, pissed off and actually know enough to be a real threat, with a motivation to be so that is beyond compare.
We want nothing they or the human circus has to offer.
The right thing to do has escaped them long ago…and they did not even search for it.
And in all this, ‘they’ wished to teach us something(HA)…well, did we learn what they wished for us to know, I wonder?
March 16, 2011 at 8:18 pm
And why are all other nations in the Middle East worried about Iran’s nuclear programme, as was disclosed by WikiLeaks? (http://andreasmoser.wordpress.com/2010/12/01/wikileaks-and-israel/)
March 18, 2011 at 6:00 pm
@Andreas
You mean Saudi Arabia? And the other Arab dictators and royal families that are supported and financed by the United States?
